Okay I am excited to see Jada Pinkett Smith doing her thing again. For a minute I thought she got a little to complacent with being just "Mrs. Will Smith" (well who wouldn't) and not utilizing her talents. But if the previews of Hawthorne, the new TNT TV series that she executive-produces and stars in is any indication, Jada is back on her grind. I'm so excited for her and know this show will do well (the show airs 9pm est).
Jada portrays Christina Hawthorne a Chief Nursing Officer at Richmond Trinity Hospital who don't take no mess and is all about the patients.
Her co-stars include:
Michael Vartan as Dr. Tom Wakefield, Chief of Surgery
Suleka Mathew as Bobbie Jackson, a nurse and one of Christina's best friends
David Julian Hirsh as Ray Stein, a male nurse struggling in a female dominated profession (how's that for a twist)
And a host of other great supporting performers. Between this and the Real Housewives of NJ finale I will be glued tonight to the television set!
